This annual one-day Labor Day Weekend festival covers 8 city blocks, 1 large amphitheater stage, 27 performing artists, 7 of the bay’s best DJ’s, 3 DJ-music-only dance floors and 100+ vendors @ Oakland City Hall Downtown Oakland 150-250 Frank Ogawa Plaza Area. You are welcome to bring your lawn chairs or you can rent one from our vendor. Our DJ’s will be spinning Old School R&B, Chicago Stepping, Reggae and Salsa. In addition to this, our other activities are Karaoke singing, Paint N Sip, Fashion Show and ALL DAY 50/50 raffles. We have entertainment for singles, couples and friends of all ethnic, social and economic backgrounds.

The OLD SCHOOL GONE WILD Dance Party Festival is built on the concept that mature grown folks can join at least once a year, let their hair down in a safe environment, listen to great music together, eat great food together, sing songs together, dance together and go home peacefully together. We strive to build a multicultural family environment through music and food, one festival at a time. In practicing our open-door old-school family-oriented spirit, vendors, sponsors and event organizers are always welcome.
